Like you, I still think he will eventually be fantastic. But the Sonics are going to be terrible this year, and I find it funny how the media drools over any player that takes enough shots to score a lot of points. I went to a few games at the Rocky Mountain Review and saw a few interesting things. Al Horford looked uninterested and didn't play well. Aaron Gray played very efficiently and with Chicago's need for post scoring, I bet he finds some minutes this year. Paul Millsap looked like a man among boys. Hopefully some experience being a dominating scorer will give him a little more confidence in his shot as he progresses this year. Great comments on Durant.
