On Saturday I noted JC Bradbury’s review of our book in The International Journal of Sport Finance. As I mentioned, this is the first review of our book in an academic setting by a fellow academic. Unfortunately I could not post this review without permission.
Today I received this permission from Dennis Howard, the editor of IJSF (Thanks Dennis). So if you go to our review section at our homepage, or the page located in this forum with our reviews, or if you just follow this link, you can read Bradbury’s discussion of our work.
For those who do not know, Bradbury is an economist in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Sport Science at Kennesaw State University. His published work on sports and economics has appeared in Economic Inquiry and The Journal of Sports Economics. He is also author of the forthcoming book entitled The Baseball Economist and has written extensively on baseball at his blog — Sabernomics. All in all, it is nice that someone with these credentials likes our book.
By the way, my rule is only one post a day. But this post is shameless self promotion, so it won’t count. In a few minutes I am posting a few comments on the surprising Utah Jazz.
