Just noticed that in the past few hours The Wages of Wins Journal has passed 50,000 hits. Our blog has only existed since April. So that means we are averaging more than 10,000 hits per month. Not sure how that compares to the other blogs we enjoy, but it sounds impressive.
Just wanted to thank everyone for stopping by and hearing what we have to say. Hopefully everyone is finding what we report here to be, at the very least, interesting.

Your blog is one of the best and most informative on the net and I just want to thank you to devoting so much of your time to it and responding to a majority of the user comments. I look forward to reading your posts through the NFL season and especially on through the upcoming NBA season (now that we eliminated from the World Basketball Championship).
I also have been wanting to ask you if you have read Malcolm Gladwell’s lastest article and blog post on differency ratio’s and if you have any thoughts on it?
Thanks,
-Travis W

Congrats. I see the US celebrated the 50k mark by losing to Greece. Typical. At least Carmelo Anthony returned to form (.375 WS). Though some players (Paul, Johnson, Brand) appeared to play as though this were the first time they’d ever attempted to play basketball.

Congratulations. We all have criticized you because your metrics, but we don´t ignore it´s the most practical, mathematically misinterpreted and really economically useful available
