Stats Are One Thing – Details Are Another
It is the Pollin family NOT the Pollard family.
Just saying. Show some respect. Do some basic research. Thank you.
Hopefully, Matthew Yglesias – who wrote the offending sentence (and who I think is a fan of the Wizards) – reads this and tries to do better next time J

P.S. And next time I cut and paste from another blog, I will proofread first (just kidding, I am not that good at proofreading my own writing).

It’s amazing how Leonsis has gone from praising your work to being curt and dismissive in so little time.
I guess he still has a bee in his bonnet after you applied your ‘wonderful counter cultural look’ at his Wizards franchise, and found that the ‘stats speak loudly and clearly’ that they will suck. :-p

DJ,
There’s a very clear bit of information here. If you find someone you want to quote and they don’t say what you want then change the quote to match your opinion. Otherwise it’s disrespectful. I’d say not carefully reading someone’s article and then criticizing it is probably disrespectful but who knows?

Makes me believe Leonsis was the driving force behind the Wall pick. Every other move this offseason he can blame on Grunfeld, the sacrificial lamb he can throw to the wolves whenever necessary, and essentially get a free pass; no reason to take criticism so personally. Wall, however, would seem to be his choice for (on-court) face of the franchise; those of us taking a pass on the kool-aid appear to have struck a nerve.
